Summary
Updates were made to the Queensland non-urban water measurement information standard.
Under this standard, measurement requirements include obligations to have a measurement device installed and certified against the relevant standard.
Reporting of information about water take, for example, a meter read from a measurement device, is an ongoing requirement.
The following updates were made:
- to include guidance on how to provide meter reads in the new WaterIQ online platform, which replaces the former online meter read portal; and
- the standard has been renamed to form part of the existing series of Queensland non-urban water measurement standards.
